Scottish topographical Features:

Sgurr (sgoor) : A rocky pointed summit, mostly found on the West Coast.

Cairn : Rocky summit, not as pointed as a Sgurr
Beinn (bine) : All purpose hill name.
Meall (myaal) : Rounded hump. usually found on the East Coast, Cairngorms etc.
Tulloch (tulloch) : A small knoll.
Bealach (byaaluch) : A Pass.
Druim (droo-im) : A Ridge.
Coire (korrie) : A corrie or hollow.
Monadh (monugh) : A moor. The dh is sometimes pronounced as a gh, but usually silent
Garbh (garav) : Rough

Colours:

Gorm (gorom) : Blue as in Cairn Gorm (the blue cairn).
Uaine (ooinyeh) : Green, as in An Duine Uaine (in doonyeh ooinyeh).
Buidhe (booay) : Yellow
Glas (glass) : Grey as in Beinn Glas, The grey hill.
Liath (lia) : Grey as in Liathach (lee-ach) The Grey One.
Odhar (owe-ir) : Dun Coloured as in Beinn Odhar.
Airgiod (airikitch) : Silver, as in Airgiod Bheinn on Beinn a' Ghlo.
