Cairngorms - October. Scrambling and walking in some of the most famous mountains in Scotland! The transport will hopefully be leaving early afternoon. We are staying in a bunkhouse which is not near a pub.

• Maps : Ordnance Survey Outdoor Leisure - The Cairngorms Aviemore and Glen Avon 1:25000
• Travel : Its 250 miles and should take 5 hours.
• Accommodation : In a bunkhouse at Mar Lodge which is not near a pub. Outac star rating : *****
• Routes : Ben Macdhui. Britain’s second highest mountain. A 10 hour round trip. Think of a long day out on the hills, double it… and you’re not even near!
• Kit : Remember it's coming up to winter!
• Other stuff : We are unlikely to get to a pub so bring booze for the bunkhouse.
• Anybody who comes on this trip must read and digest the SAFETY page
