Isle of Arran - November. Scrambling and walking in one of the most famous islands in Scotland! The minibus will hopefully be leaving early afternoon to catch the 6.00 pm ferry. We are staying in a bunkhouse which is in the grounds of Brodick Castle near the pubs in Brodick.

• Maps :
• Travel : Its 250 miles and should take 4 hours followed by a 1 hour ferry crossing. We are not planning to take the minibus onto the island so we will go as foot passengers on the ferry and walk the 2 kilometers to the bunkhouse. We MUST leave Newcastle by 1.00 pm to get the last ferry at 6.00 pm. DO NOT be late!
• Accommodation : In Shore Lodge Bunkhouse which is not near a pub. Outac star rating : *****

• Kit : Remember it's winter! Arran is on the west coast so it's unlikely there will be major snow but come prepared for wet weather.
