Borrowdale -Scrambling and walking in one of the most famous parts of England! The Transport will hopefully be leaving at 5.00 pm. We are staying in a climbing hut in Borrowdale. Maps : A good idea! Travel : Its 100 miles and should take 2 hours. Accommodation : In Bowderstone Cottage Routes : Scafell Pike on Saturday and Blencathra via Sharp Edge on Sunday Kit : Remember it's autumn Directions : The Bowderstone Cottage is the larger of the two cottages situated at the Bowderstone, 600 metres along a well-graded track from the National Trust’s Bowderstone Car Park in Borrowdale. The grid reference is NY 254 164. Approaching from Keswick along the B5289, the Car Park is approximately 7 kilometres south of the town on the left hand side, 700 metres after the right turn to Grange.
